    Loved Andi and the other staff- very helpful. Negatives to unit 1432: sofa bed very uncomfortable (if advertised as “sleeps six”, it should be a good sleeper sofa) / no towel bars or hooks in master bathroom (one end of a towel bar only in wall)/ no full length mirror/ no flipper spatula for eggs or other/ one side of toaster burned everything even when set on same level as other side which toasted well / some dishes and knives in the cupboards and drawers were dirty when we went to use for first time (I am not sure the dishwasher worked well enough)

    Kudos to the manager and staff for bringing Sanibel Moorings back to life after Hurricane Ian. There is more work to be done, but the progress is incredible. The pools are refurbished and the beach is clean and inviting. And the sun was always out!

    The last time I had visited Sanibel Moorings was as a child with my family in the 80s. I had such fond memories of my past stays there. This time I visited with my children and parents. We loved it! The gardens were more beautiful as I remember and the proximity to the beach was so convenient with young children. I will absolutely be visiting again in the future.

    We enjoyed our stay very much in Unit #642. Found it to be spacious and more private than expected since it backs-up to a busy road. Lush trees are in between unit and street. Heavy plated windows block a lot of the street noise. Kitchen drawers and cabinets could use some updating, granite countertops have some cracks or holes that should be repaired. Loved the screened-in patio even with cars whizzing by. It was shady and perfect for reading or a cup of coffee in the morning. I have to say the one thing that bothered me the most was the parking spot assigned to #642. It's the first one closest to the street. It's hard to get into from the street; and it's dangerous getting out with cars entering from the street. I'd prefer a different (but close-by) spot next time.

    This unit is rated as "standard," and it is not as nice as some of the others we have seen. We have stayed in this same unit six times, because it is available the four weeks we choose to be in Sanibel. It is always clean, but the living room furniture, though comfortable, is wearing, but the dressers, bedside tables, beds, dining set, and porch furniture are all very nice. The wall hangings, upholstery, and lamps carry out the beach theme without being kitschy. The lighting could be brighter. The kitchen supplies are of uneven quality, if plentiful. We always bring knives, a griddle, and a water heating pot. The shower, refrigerator, and stove are aging and have such glitches as the stove drawer falling to the floor as it is opened. We must compliment the maintenance and custodial staff of the Moorings, however, who come immediately if anything truly needs repair or replacement. Overall, we would like it to be nicer, but we are comfortable there.

    We had an amazing time in Sanibel. The Sanibel Moorings condo we rented was wonderful. Easy access to everything and tastefully decorated.
