  The unit we stayed in was fantastic and well stocked with needed items. Office staff were helpful in answering questions. The grounds were beautiful in spite of the continuing recovery from Ian.
  We have stayed in this property on two other occasions and continue to return as the experience is wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay at Sanibel.

  Was great to get back to Sanibel Moorings after hurricane Ian! Unfortunately recovery is going very slowly (both on Island and on Resort. Staff was very helpful in fixing the many issues that we had during our stay. Hope return to condo resort continues to its previous paridise condition.

  Sanibel Moorings has many units that were either renovated or repaired after the hurricane in Sept 2022. The unit where we stayed, 1422, was as clean, comfortable and as well furnished as we expected and the Moorings was just like we remembered from our previous trips to Sanibel. More units are quickly becoming available and I'll be anxious for them to come on-line. It will be a while for 100% of the units as some of the property received more severe damage but they will all be virtually new. Much of the exotic vegetation is gone but the grounds are still superb with a wide assortment of psalms and other plants. To new people, it looks as though the grounds are back to normal. It was great to swim and lounge around the pool and walk the beach again. Many of our favorite restaurants are back in business and the Ding Darling 5 mile trail was as interesting as always. We highly recommend a trip to Sanibel Moorings this spring.
