  We have stayed at this resort for nearly 40 years. The resort is better than ever. The grounds have made a remarkable comeback at great expense. A few additions have made the vacation experience special like the Friday coffee and donuts at the pool and the visiting food trucks. The unit, 1041that we stayed in is beautiful with a great location. The only negative was the very limited glassware in the unit.

  My three siblings and I spent a wonderful long weekend here. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The walk to the lighthouse and the lighthouse shopping area was easy.The condo was confortable.

  Our first visit post IAN and the Island look amazing.
  
  But I have to say the TEAM at Sanibel Moorings is doing an amazing job. At every turn someone was planting new bushes, trees etc. The entire complex was spotless.
  
  Unit 1041 we stayed in before now looks like a new home inside its just mind blowing the progress this team has done.
  
  We had to cut our visit short for an incoming snow/ice storm but will return this spring.

  The resort was beautiful and absolutely perfect. Clean, easy access to everything you need! Staff in the office were kind and helpful (especially since the Easter Bunny wasn't completely ready- oops!). The overall setting was paradise. We will definitely be back to Sanibel Moorings.
  
  The only complaint that I have with the unit is the ceiling above the shower in the first bathroom looked as though it was going fall down. A poor patch job with a combo of what looked like mold kept us from using that bathroom our entire stay. the towel rod looked like it was about to come out of the wall as well. The location of the unit was perfect. I was worried that it would be hard to sleep since it is right by the pool but that wasn't the case.
